Thank you for taking the time out to read a little about myself and the creation of Cakebite. I have never been much of a baker in my younger years back in the Netherlands, however after I turned vegetarian and this also including no eggs, I started to miss having moist indulging cakes. Wherever I looked, I just couldn’t find the right sponge that satisfied my
tastebuds! So one day, I decided to take matters into my own hands and I started to explore widely in the kitchen with so many different recipes. It all became a massive experiment until I finally nailed the right eggless Vanilla sponge and following that I finally nailed a vegan
Chocolate sponge too! After amazing feedback from friends and family after making a cake for their events, I
decided to turn this into a business!
I am grateful to say that it kickstarted like a blast, there is so much that has been improved over the last years and with experience you just learn SO MUCH! So here I am, offering a service for your special occasion and amazing bakes for your guilty
pleasure, cause we all deserve a sweet treat time to time, don’t you think?
